As part of its ongoing commitment to supporting people and the planet, sustainable transport consultancy GO Travel Solutions has announced a donation of £12,000 to Groundwork UK.

Groundwork is a charity that works with communities across the UK to create greener places, improve wellbeing and help people build healthier, happier lives. Through practical, community-led projects, the charity helps tackle climate change, enhance green spaces, support young people, improve employment opportunities and strengthen local neighbourhoods.

The funding will contribute towards Groundwork's work to deliver lasting environmental and social benefits in communities across the UK.

Graham Duxbury, Groundwork’s UK Chief Executive, said:

“We are beyond delighted to have been chosen by the staff of GO Travel Solutions to receive this donation and will use it to support the work we do to help communities improve the quality of the local environment on their doorstep and promote more sustainable living.”

Cliff Jones, Technical Director at GO Travel Solutions, said:

"Every year, our team chooses a charity that reflects the values we share as an organisation. Groundwork UK's work aligns closely with our own commitment to creating healthier, more sustainable communities, so we're delighted to support them this year. As a social enterprise, creating positive impact is at the heart of everything we do, and we're proud that we can help fund projects that make a real difference to people and places across the UK."

GO Travel Solutions makes an annual charitable donation from its profits, with the recipient selected by employees as part of the organisation's ongoing commitment to creating positive social and environmental impact.
