Ready to win West Northants - Terms and conditions

These Terms and Conditions apply to the “Ready to Win West Northants” competitions, run by GO Travel Solutions on behalf of West Northamptonshire Council taking place from 28th July to 31st August 2025. By participating, entrants agree to the following:

1. Eligibility

  • The competitions are free to enter and open to all residents and visitors of West Northamptonshire.
  • Entrants must be 16 years or older. Under 16s may participate with the consent of a parent or guardian.

2. Competition details

A. Rugby ball hunt

  • Each week in August, two gift bags will be hidden on board a bus within West Northamptonshire. The clear bag will be placed on a seat and a rugby ball will be visible. 
  • Whoever finds the bag may take it home and can be entered into a prize draw for one of the advertised prizes. Instructions will be added to the bag on how to enter.
  • Prize draw entries are limited to one per person per week.

B. Mystery Passenger giveaways

  • Throughout August, a Give it a Try representative will travel on bus routes and visit bus stops within Northamptonshire.
  • Passengers will be randomly selected to win an on-the-spot prize as a “Mystery Passenger.”
  • No purchase is necessary. Winners are chosen at the discretion of the representative.

3. Prizes

Prizes may include (but are not limited to):

  • Northampton Saints match tickets
  • Afternoon Tea for Two at Delapré Abbey
  • Gift voucher for Collective Clothing
  • Family return ticket on the Northampton & Lamport Railway
  • Towcester Mill Brewery comedy night tickets
  • Entry to Lamport Hall & Gardens with cream tea
  • Entry for two to 78 Derngate
  • Prizes are non-transferable and no cash alternative is available.
  • Specific prize availability may vary and is subject to change.

4. Winner notification & prize collection

  • Winners from the rugby ball hunt will be contacted using the details provided in their prize draw entry (if applicable).
  • Mystery Passenger winners will receive a gift bag immediately on board the bus or at the bus stop including instructions on how to enter the prize draw.
  • Prize draw winners will be contacted by no later than mid-October 2025.
  • If a winner does not respond within 7 days, the prize may be forfeited and awarded to another entrant.

5. Publicity

  • Winners may be asked to take part in promotional activities, including social media mentions or photos.
  • Participation is optional and subject to the winner’s consent.

6. Data protection

  • Personal data will be collected solely for the purposes of administering the competition.
  • Data will be handled in accordance with GDPR and GO Travel Solutions’ Privacy Policy and will not be shared with third parties without consent.

7. General

  • GO Travel Solutions reserves the right to modify or cancel the competitions at any time.
  • By participating, entrants agree to these Terms and Conditions, which are final and binding.
